Tekoi Consulting provides IT services to a diverse range of clients ranging from Government to Small and Medium Business. As such, we collect data for the purpose of business operations.   1. The data collected is used solely for the purpose for which it was collected which is to conduct business activities such as the quotation, supply, or provision of ICT services. We ensure that your information is not used for any other purposes without your consent, unless required by law.

  1. We take reasonable measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of your personal and sensitive data. This includes safeguarding against unauthorised access, disclosure, or alteration. Access to this information is limited to authorised personnel only, and we employ industry-standard security protocols to protect your data.
  2. Data is stored within our online systems unless specifically requested to be removed for which financial data will only be retained in accordance with Australian law or if it is not feasible to be removed (such as the deletion of an immutable backup copy).

  1. Tekoi Consulting has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) responsible for overseeing data privacy processes within the organization. At the time of writing this policy, the DPO role lies with the Director of Tekoi Consulting.

  • Acknowledgment: We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint or inquiry within 5 business days, providing you with a reference number and an estimated timeframe for resolution.
  • Investigation: The Data Protection Officer will investigate the matter, which may involve reviewing relevant data handling processes, consulting with involved parties, and assessing compliance with this Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
  • Resolution: We aim to resolve complaints and inquiries within 30 business days. You will be informed of the outcome, including any actions taken or proposed to address the issue. If the matter is complex, we will provide updates on progress and a revised timeframe if necessary.
  • Escalation: If you are not satisfied with the resolution, you may escalate the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) or other relevant regulatory body. We will provide you with details on how to pursue external recourse if requested.
  • Confidentiality: All complaints and inquiries are treated with strict confidentiality and handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable laws.

Google LLC. offers a guarantee to maintain an adequate level of data protection on the basis of European standard contractual clauses. The data sent and linked to the Google Analytics cookies, e.g. user IDs or advertising IDs will be automatically deleted after 50 months. The deletion of data whose retention period has been reached is carried out automatically once a month.
